This started as an unideal situation: My wife and I were ready to upgrade our house into our forever home, but we would have to sell our current home for more than I thought anybody would pay for it. In addition, I knew we were going have to find a hidden gem to find value in this over inflated market. To my surprise, we found a very complicated home and land deal in Ridgeville SC. Stephen managed to get closing costs + new carpet replacement + an extra 3 acres of land at almost no cost to me. For the icing on the cake, the buyer for my home offered above asking but her financing fell through. Stephen connected the buyer with a local lender that saved the deal. So in the end, we got WAAAY more than we ever thought was possible in this market on both the buying and selling side. The entire process took about 3 months, and Stephen maintained constant communication the entire time. There is absolutely no way either deal works out without Stephen's hard work and determination. It was the first time I have seen an agent REALLY work, it was a breath of fresh air. We have no plans on moving again, but if we do there is only one agent I will call... Mr. Stephen Vaughn!
